Autumn Save the Dates
Showing 1 - 13 of 13 Autumn Save the Dates:
Traditionally summer was the most popular time to have a wedding, but in recent years fall has tied (and at times eclipsed) summer for the most popular months of the year for weddings. As the price for venues climbed during the summer months, fall weddings grew in popularity and appeal for engaged couples. In addition to saving some money, autumn weddings mean cooler temperatures, less conflicts with guests' vacations, and with the weddings of other friends and family. October marks the end of peak wedding season, but September is actually tied with June as the most popular month to have a wedding.
Since fall weddings have now become very common, it's more important than ever to send save the date cards, postcards, or magnets for your autumn wedding date. This gives your guests time to prepare for your wedding and reserve the date on their calendars. While Thanksgiving, Halloween, and 9/11 are universally blocked off for most people (and thus unpopular wedding dates), in the south fall also means football weekends. For many couples and their guests planning a wedding on a football weekend might be a huge mistake. So take caution when scheduling your fall wedding date. Once you have your date chosen, you'll want to send save the dates 6-9 months ahead of time. For fall weddings that means January to May depending on the specific day of your nuptials.
There are many choices of save the dates with a fall theme. Some designs feature leaves, pumpkins, or other autumn-themed ideas. There are save the dates available in all a variety of beautiful fall colors: brown, orange, gold, yellow, and red are all great color schemes that well reflect an autumn wedding theme.
